As Lucy began to prepare a special treat for her Thanksgiving guests she gazed towards the sea and thought about the fate of the 24 sea urchins whose tongues would soon be an important ingredient in her special recipe. Their fate like the turkey in her oven bound together in a strange sacrificial feast. She mixed together the onion,dry sherry, cilantro and the olive oil and of course the delicate tongues of the poor hapless sea urchins and spread them over some rustic bread slices. Her guests smiling with anticipation reached gingerly for the treat and smiled with satisfaction as they raised their wine glasses in celebration of the holiday.

Question for people more intelligent than me
by Monsieur indo we have concrete evidence of how the pyramids at giza were built?.
or is this still an unexplained 'mystery'?.
i've read that the stones used to build these things are monolithic?.

Since it's difficult to determine how accurate the "so called evidence" is I try to use what I have observed about human beings over the six decades I've been alive. My observation is that people may be excited at first over a project but after a while they have a hard time keeping up their enthusiasm and even beating them and whatever doesn't really work. When i observe all the massive projects the ancients engaged in I wonder how things were accomplished with the slave labor concept. These are huge projects where do they all stand as they're pulling these rocks and you need to feed, water, house and entertain them and they will want to reproduce and have families. in a primitive culture how do you get thousands upon thousands to keep going at task. The big question is why such large stones when smaller ones would do and what's the motivation in Peru they quarried out huge granite stones from one mountain dragged them down to the river across and up the other side to build a huge structure it makes no sense to me. People get tired and sick of doing things yet all over this planet there's evidence that these things were built so i don't know. I really don't think we have the answer.

first T-day dinner this year
by Hortensia ini live in a seniors-only apartment complex.
management has a tendency to patronize us, which is interesting and rather entertaining.
today we had our annual t-day dinner for the seniors, catered by a local church.

Monsieur
There are many megalitic sites on this planet and they are a mystery. Some people have ideas about how it was done but everytime i see one of those shows about "this is how they did it" they cheat and are only partially successful. They'll drive an already completed item on a truck and then try to drag it on some rollers for a short distance and claim victory. We don't really know the answers i think it's a big fat mystery.
